
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) is a systematic approach
to controlling
food borne illness. The Division of Hotels and Restaurants has incorporated this
approach into its educational and regulatory efforts for public food service
establishments.
HACCP has been approved by the U. S. Food and Drug Administration.
Street HACCP is a good training program from the DBPR website. With the help of
Doctor Germ Freeman, reporters Eve Coli and Sal Monella cover hand washing,
receiving and storage, temperature controls, and general food safety.
Click on the Run Street HACCP link below then click OPEN to start the program.
Hit ESC to exit.
You will get better performance if you install it to your computer.
To install it to your computer click on the "Download Street HACCP" link
below. This
will bring up two windows. Click OK on the first window then click the BROWSE
button. This will bring up an explorer window.
Select the location where you want to store the program and click OK then click UNZIP. It
should unzip
everything to that location. Double click the new "Street HACCP" icon to run the
program, or you can
select individual areas such as DBPR Hand Washing Main by double clicking those
icons.
